Donald Pate brings to Statewide over 16 years experience in construction and environmental remediation work. As a Project Superintendent, Donald has supervised all types of water and sewer improvement projects such as installing water mains, fire hydrants and service connections, installing gravity sewer main, manholes, service connections, sewer pump stations, and sewer force mains, expanding waste water treatment plants, and drilling water wells. As an Environmental Remediation Project Superintendent, Donald has supervised hundreds of projects such as, asbestos abatement, removal of lead based paint, underground storage tank removal, and removal of contaminated soils. Donald is a licensed Abatement Supervisor in GA, FL, AL, MS, NC, SC, and TN.
Once all projects have been designed and permitted, Donald aids in advertising projects for bid in accordance with state and federal requirements, attending pre-bid meetings as well as bid openings, reviewing bids and making recommendations to the client, and finalization of the contract documents. If a project is bid out of budget, Donald acts as a liaison between the designing engineers and the client to determine the best approach for bringing a project back into budget without sacrificing the integrity of the design.
Donald is a valuable member of the Statewide team. His experience and knowledge of construction activities will ensure a project is constructed according to project plans and specifications and remain within the allocated budget.
