City of Nashville TE (Transportation Enhancement) Project Phase I
The City of Nashville proposed to add streetscape improvements, including paver-style sidewalks,a pedestrian plaza, historic-style lighting, public art, landscaping, vehicular access and prorch to the trailhead/community center, and other pedestrian facilities to their downtown area. The Late Mayor Connie Perry had a vision for the enhancement and beautification of their downtown area, and was instrumental in the conception, planning, and motivation behind this effort.
Through GDOT's Transportation Enhancement program and The Southeast Georgia Rural Development Center, the City was able to make this vision a reality. We are proud to have been involved with this project from the conceptual phase through completion.
